Scott Thatcher
Scott R. Thatcher, is the Director of Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) for Humanetics. Prior to joining Humanetics in 2023, Mr. Thatcher worked for over 20 years as a pharmaceutical development scientist /leader and industry consultant for innovator and contract research organizations . In these capacities, Mr. Thatcher contributed to nine (9) successful commercial products (small/large molecule). Mr. Thatcher has contributed to multiple IND/ANDA/NDA filings across therapeutic categories, including but not limited to, analgesics, antidotes, anti-inflammatory, antibiotics, blood glucose regulators, cardiovascular agents, dermatological, enzyme modifiers, gastrointestinal, ophthalmic agents, respiratory agents, pain management agents, electrolyte replacement. Mr. Thatcher has worked on a multitude of delivery systems; oral tablets/capsules, liquids, creams, lotions, suspensions, parenterals (vials, metered-dose pens), metered-dose inhalers, unit-dose nasals. Mr. Thatcher has contributed to several pharma industry publications in analytical and photo chemistry, internal CMC company publications, and patents. In addition, Mr. Thatcher is an active participant on USP technical committees. Mr. Thatcher earned his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN.
